The Patriot Cup Gala
On the evening of Memorial Day, Patriot Cup participants, spouses and guests come together for a black tie gala at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. During the gala, Major Dan Rooney presents the Corporal Brock Bucklin Patriot Award to an individual who has gone above the call of duty to serve our nation’s heroes. Additionally, a scholarship recipient shares his/her personal story to honor the special hero he/she cherishes.
Following the gala, guests move to “The Joint” at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for a exciting concert featuring a world-class entertainer. Previous performers included Vince Gill in 2010, Darius Rucker in 2011 and Rascall Flatts in 2012.

Corporal Brock Bucklin sacrificed his life in defense of America’s freedoms and his sacrifice is memorialized in this award, the most prestigious honor given by the Folds of Honor Foundation. It is presented to an individual who displays unwavering, meritorious, and extraordinary qualities of leadership, service, and dedication to advancing genuine patriotism in America.The recipient of this award recognizes such sacrifices made on his or her behalf and supports those who have made such sacrifices. The characteristics attributed to this prestigious award are in keeping with the best traditions of the United States of America, its founders, and its defenders.
