It was at the 2015 PGA Merchandise show that the partnership between Folds of Honor and Fairway & Greene began.

Fairway & Greene was launching their Made in the USA initiative, and one of the brand’s senior sales representatives introduced their CEO, Chad Delp, to Folds of Honor Board Member, Larry Pfeiffer.

When Pfeiffer shared the mission behind Folds of Honor, Delp was extremely impressed and knew that Fairway & Greene needed to be a part of it.

And so the partnership began with a pledge of $1.13 of every Made in the USA polo sold, going back to Folds of Honor

The 13¢ was chosen to represent the 13 folds in an American flag that is presented to the family of a fallen service member.

Since the partnership began, the Made in the USA product has grown from 0% to more than 40% of Fairway & Greene’s polo shirt sales in 2017. Due to the success of the Made in the USA polo shirts, Fairway & Greene stepped up their pledge last year, and began donating $2.13 of each Made in the USA polo sold.

To date, they have donated over $101,000 to the mission.

Along with selling polo shirts to benefit Folds, Fairway & Greene is always advocating for the mission. From social media and email to printed collateral about the mission of Folds with all Made in the USA product orders and even their sales reps talking daily with golf clubs about the initiative, Fairway & Greene goes above and beyond to ensure the mission of Folds is being shared.

In fact, one of the biggest and most exciting moments of this partnership came from the 2015 President’s Cup. Fairway & Greene, working with team captain, Jay Haas, outfitted Team USA, and it was the Made in the USA Tournament stripe polo in red and white that they chose to wear for the final round of the tournament. They chose it, not just for its patriotic look, but also for the Made in the USA brand mission to support the families that Folds of Honor serves.

In dramatic fashion, Team USA went on to win the 2015 President’s Cup, clinching the winning point on the final hole of the final match.

Along with the incredible opportunity for the Made in the USA line to be worn by Team USA at the 2015 President’s Cup, 2016 PGA Tour winner and former US Naval Officer, Billy Hurley III has just signed with Fairway & Greene, and will be proudly wearing the Made in the USA product while on tour.

Due to the success of the Made in the USA product, Fairway & Greene is expanding beyond polos, to outerwear and layering pieces. As the collection continues to grow, they will welcome more opportunities to support Folds of Honor.
